Day 15: Brantford to Burlington 74km
Tuesday, June 21.
Sunny and super with a nice SW wind. 25C

You couldn’t ask for a better place to eat breakfast. Mohawk Park overlooking the Grand River in Brantford was dappled in shade this morning while we fueled up for our ride to Hamilton.

The trail passes under railway tracks leaving us riding in the dark.

During a rest stop along the way we noticed something watching us from overhead.

Once we ascended out of the Grand River Valley we started down the Niagara Escarpment. We mostly coasted 10km downhill until we arrived in Hamilton proper.

With only one minor hiccup navigating through Hamilton, we made our way over the bridge on York Rd and into Burlington.

Eventually we made our way to our hotel by the 403 in Burlington. We found out where the nearest grocery store was and then paid it a visit. On the way back we took a different route and got to play on this ramp over the rail lines.

We enjoyed another delicious supper in our room.

Tomorrow we will be riding into Toronto for the final leg of our journey.
